If you are normally wearing size S and wear this skirt in size M, it will be a bit loose in the waist. This can be fixed with a cute belt! The S runs very tight and short, but it also fits (see pictures). We recommend size S if your heigh is below 165 cm, otherwise we recommend size M because of the short length of the skirt.
